1. Output

Importers of small Industrial Chinese Ozone Generators specify the Ozone Output as generators that are only capable of producing the ozone output if Oxygen is used as a feed gas and not atmospheric air.

As everyone knows, atmospheric air contains anything up to 20% oxygen and ozone generators split oxygen atoms to produce the unstable o3 molecule it stands to reason that the ozone output is less than half of what it would be should 90% oxygen gas be used.

Because of this we now specify our ozone generators on oxygen aswell but in brackets we mention the “ on air” output.

Thus our 10 gram unit for example will provide 5 grams ozone on dry atmospheric air and 10 grams if oxygen is used.

2. Sizing and Application Advice

As often happens a Water treatment expert may well advise a colleague or client to use a 10 gram ozone generator for a particular application where 5 grams on air is needed.

Biozone  Solutions will determine and size the ozone demand for the client by analysing what the ozone is required to do and by taking into account local conditions, recommend an Ozone Generator to suit.
