Treatment Process: Water treatment, implementing Sediment removal, Reverse Osmosis, UV Sterilization and Online Monitoring

Industry: Food

Biozone has successfully delivered a comprehensive water treatment and borehole management solution for Nestlé, a leading company focused on sustainable operations. This project involved the drilling, equipping, and ongoing monitoring of multiple boreholes, with carefully designed pumping schedules to protect aquifers and ensure long-term sustainability. A stable and reliable water supply is essential for Nestlé’s operations, and our system is engineered to provide consistent volumes of treated water to meet their production needs.

The treatment process begins with sediment and iron removal using Activated Filter Media (AFM), eliminating particulate matter and dissolved iron that could affect equipment and water quality. Water then passes through a nanofiltration (NF) system, which reduces hardness and elevated silica levels, preventing scale formation and maintaining the integrity of Nestlé’s production processes.

Biozone has also integrated real-time monitoring technology, allowing Nestlé to track borehole performance, water quality, and system efficiency. Advanced control systems enable seamless switching between borehole and municipal water sources when required, ensuring uninterrupted operations. This solution is designed to meet Nestlé’s specific operational needs while promoting efficiency, sustainability, and improved water management, delivering long-term value and reduced dependence on external water supplies.
